Joon Hyuk Ma | 마준혁

Joon Ma (b. 1989, Seoul, Korea) is an architectural designer based in Boston, MA. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Davidson College and a Master of Architecture from Princeton University, where he was awarded the Suzanne Kolarik Underwood Prize for his thesis. His work has been recognized internationally, most recently winning the Europan 15 Vienna and shortlisted for the Dubai World Expo Korean Pavilion. He is a founding member of one-aftr, a creative architectural design agency based in New York and Seoul, and OPS!, an interdisciplinary architecture collective based in Italy, Netherlands, and South Korea. He taught at Columbia University and Princeton University as an assistant instructor. He taught 4th year studio and coordinates thesis at Virginia Tech. Currently, he teaches at Syracuse University.
